Monel 400 (N04400) Monel alloy is the most widely used, versatile, and has excellent comprehensive properties as a corrosion-resistant alloy. This alloy exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance in media such as hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas, and also has excellent resistance to hot concentrated alkali solutions. It is also resistant to corrosion from neutral solutions, water, seawater, atmosphere, and organic compounds. An important characteristic of this alloy is that it generally does not develop stress corrosion cracking and has good machinability.

Duplex 2507, which is a super duplex stainless steel with 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum,and 7% nickel. This alloy is designed for applications which require exceptional strength andcorrosion resistance; examples include applications in chemical processing, petrochemical, andseawater equipment.The steel has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, highthermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. The high chromium,molybdenum, and nickel levels provide excellent resistance to pitting,crevice, and generalcorrosion.
